BRIDGES BUILT ON BELGRADE BYPASS DOBANOVCI – BUBANJ POTOK SECTION SECTOR 4

Five large bridges have been built on Belgrade bypass, Dobanovci – Bubanj Potok section, Sector 4. The largest of them – St. Petka viaduct – is 369.6 m long. There are two footpaths, 1.10 m wide each, on both sides of 11.50 meters wide carriageway, so the overall width of the bridge is 14.20 m. Cross-section consists of four pre-stressed girders with the height of 1.80 m and weight of 38 t each.

The second largest bridge is marked as the Bridge 10. It consists of two independent continuous structures, 180 m and 225 m long, interconnected by an expansion joint. Continuous structures consist of four longitudinal girders connected by the bridge deck and cross girders over supporters and within spans. Longitudinal girders have constant height of 2.75 m and weight of 128 t.

The Bridge 11 is continuous girder which consists of four spans, 98 m long, with the pavement resolved as reinforced concrete bridge deck, h=1.30m, with hollow core and pipes made of Styrofoam, Ø90cm of full section (There are 9 pieces on cross-section of the bridge deck). The bridge deck is cast in situ on falsework made of nine temporary supports.

The Bridge 12 is a bridge – viaduct bridging the valley and it is resolved as a chain of simply supported interconnected prefabricated and pre-stressed girders with a span of 25.0 m, with three spans for all four bridges.

The Bridge 24 has a similar construction project, which is a set of four parallel bridges at the intersection “Orlovaca”, with the overall span of 71.10m.

Mostogradnja modernized its drilling rig equipment with the most modern and very powerful drilling rig RH 32 by DELMAG manufacturer in July 2008.

 DELMAG drilling rig RH 32 can be used for:

  • drilling with Kelly bar and winch
  • inserting of casing
  • drilling with a drill with continuous vanes
  • drilling with double rotary head (DDK system)
  • drilling using double auger head system (VDW system)

 DELMAG drilling rig has got the following advantages:

  • quick assembly on site
  • multiple use with drilling attachments
  • great mobility through truck transport
